This is going to be rattling around in a my head a while.

El Topo  (means "The Mole")

First released as an underground film, it was thanks to John Lennon that the film acquired a worldwide distribution. He was so impressed by this movie that he urged a close friend of his to buy the rights and take charge of distribution.

Sometimes, old stuff comes back and must be dealt with.  Sometimes, the world is weird or horrible.  Sometimes we make choices that have unknown consequences.  Sometime we make choices that have immediate, obvious consequences.  Sometimes changes happens and we never know what the outcome was.  Sometimes life is wonderful.  Sometimes we are happy.  Sometimes we are playful.  Sometimes we are vengeful.  Sometimes we die.

It's Man Ray's birthday today

And I did a Google Image search to celebrate it.  Which led me to this article, which introduced me to hEyOkA mAgAzInE.  I have always been intrigued by sacred clowns, so I kept following the path seeing where that rabbit hole would lead.  And on the home page it said:

The new site is

Leading me to another interesting place.

Singularity snapshot

If the bite of dal in my mouth had a flake of oregano in it, it would have a different flavor.  And even if it didn't have a different flavor to my tastebuds because it didn't land on one of them before I swallowed, it would still be different in composition than the bite without the oregano.  Whether or not I am immediately aware of the difference, it would be present.

This flake of oregano cannot be aware of the flake of coconut on the other side of the universe (ha!), but the flavor is still in the mixture, nonetheless.

Except the coconut atom is here and there at the same time.

Ha!

I used to think that the brain was the most wonderful organ in my body. Then I realized who was telling me this.

Life before death

L:  You know how when you're about to die, you're supposed to see your life pass before your eyes?

Me:  Yeah.

L:  What if we're in that right now?

Me:  Either way, we probably are.

L: Yeah.

Music of the Spheres

SolarBeat is too cool.

There are several times when it sounds a little like Peter and the Wolf.  Which REALLY cracks me up,

Going to examine this more, later.

Hula class first.

Headless

Parodied in Alice in Wonderland

How doth the little busy Bee
Improve each shining Hour,
And gather Honey all the day
From every opening Flower!

How skilfully she builds her Cell!
How neat she spreads the Wax!
And labours hard to store it well
With the sweet Food she makes.

In Works of Labour or of Skill
I would be busy too:
For Satan finds some Mischief still
For idle Hands to do.

In Books, or Work, or healthful Play
Let my first Years be past,
That I may give for every Day
Some good Account at last. [1715]

Mouthes of babes
