Not a seeker. Not a finder. Just a dancer in the field of dreams. Here and now is a happiness.

Finding a Piece of the Truth
One day Mara, the Evil One, was travelling through the villages of India with his attendants. he saw a man doing walking meditation whose face was lit up on wonder. The man had just discovered something on the ground in front of him. Mara’s attendant asked what that was and Mara replied, "A piece of truth."
"Doesn’t this bother you when someone finds a piece of truth, O Evil One?" his attendant asked. "No," Mara replied. "Right after this, they usually make a belief out of it."

Mercury Falls
by Robert Kroese
"Uzziel told me that Heaven is where God is."
"Well, yes,, technically that's true. On the other hand, God is not limited by time and space and therefore is everywhere. Or nowhere. The point is, calling Heaven the presence of God is like defining the Universe as where all the stuff is."
This book is making me laugh often. Part of it is his turn of phrase but a lot of it is his take on the ineffable.

Mercury Falls
Mostly just makes-me-laugh entertainment but then there's
"Certain things have to happen for the Apocalypse to take place. They're going to happen, no matter what you and I do. We can go with the flow, or we can fight it, but the river is going where it's going. We're just splashing around in the stream."
"So then... what's the point, if nothing you do is going to make any difference in the long run?"
Mercury shrugged. "Splashing is more fun."
YES!

Harold Pinter's response
From Letters of Note
7 HANOVER TERRACE
REGENTS PARK
LONDON N.W.1
AMBASSADOR 9393
4 November 1966.
Dear Master Seaman,
I'm glad to know of the interest of Form 5A in THE CARETAKER. I will answer your questions quite frankly.
i) Davies' papers are at Sidcup because that's where they are.
ii) His name is assumed because he assumed it.
iii) The two brothers see little of each other because they rarely meet.
iv) Aston fiddles with his plugs because he likes doing it.
v) When he goes out to walk, he walks.
vi) The monk swears at Davies because he doesn't like him.
vii) Davies doesn't like coloured people.
viii) He refuses to believe that he makes noises during the night.
ix) The Buddha is a Buddha.
x) The shed is a shed.
I assure you that these answers to your questions are not intended to be funny.
My best wishes to you all.
Yours sincerely,
(Signed, 'Harold Pinter')
Harold Pinter.

It's Man Ray's birthday today
And I did a Google Image search to celebrate it. Which led me to this article, which introduced me to hEyOkA mAgAzInE. I have always been intrigued by sacred clowns, so I kept following the path seeing where that rabbit hole would lead. And on the home page it said:

Ha!
I used to think that the brain was the most wonderful organ in my body. Then I realized who was telling me this.

Parodied in Alice in Wonderland
How doth the little busy Bee
Improve each shining Hour,
And gather Honey all the day
From every opening Flower!
How skilfully she builds her Cell!
How neat she spreads the Wax!
And labours hard to store it well
With the sweet Food she makes.
In Works of Labour or of Skill
I would be busy too:
For Satan finds some Mischief still
For idle Hands to do.
In Books, or Work, or healthful Play
Let my first Years be past,
That I may give for every Day
Some good Account at last. [1715]
