(the new version)
The past is a construct of the mind. It blinds us. It fools us into believing it. But the heart wants to live in the present. Look there. You'll find your answer.
Not a seeker. Not a finder. Just a dancer in the field of dreams. Here and now is a happiness.

Time
I'm a a little frustrated because I read a great image but it isn't written in a way to make a tidy quote. So, I have to paraphrase and I'm not sure I will do the idea justice.
It comes from Terry Pratchett's DiscWorld book, Theif of Time. I guess it's a counterpoint to Death's Lifetimers, with each life flowing from the Past, through the pinch of Now into the Future.
In the perspective of Time, there is no Past. It no longer exists. There is no Future. It doesn't exist, yet. There is only always, Now. Everything eternally destroyed and created. Always Now.

Graveside
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
